Craig, who is Cure Kids ambassador Kemper’s physio, supported Red Nose Day last year by dyeing his hair red, and raising funds for life-saving child health research.
Why did you sign up to fundraise for Red Nose Day last year?
I work with one of the Cure Kids ambassadors (Kemper) and seeing what he is going through and how positive he remains was really inspirational for me. Cure kids do a fantastic job for these kids and I was keen to get behind them and help.
What does Red Nose Day mean to you?
A way to raise money and awareness for a fantastic cause.
What did you do to fundraise?
Dyed my hair red then shaved it off.
Had donation boxes around various clinics and workplaces.
Held a fundraising day including fun activities, auctions and raffles.
What was your inspiration?
Working with one of the Cure Kids ambassadors.
What would you say to others who are thinking about taking part in Red Nose Day?
Do it! It’s a huge amount of fun and for a great cause. These kids are struggling through adversity and remain upbeat and positive.
