- Wear red speedos for a red nose, or;
- Go for red toes, bows and pantyhose for a red nose, or;
- Strike a pose for a red nose!
Don’t forget to post a photo or video of you fulfilling your ‘dare’ on social media, and challenge your friends to take on a challenge.
Show You Care With Red Hair
A couple of years ago, a crazy group got together and made a pact to dye their hair and beards red if they reached their fundraising target. Since then, the challenge has got bigger, and now people all over New Zealand are showing they support Red Nose Day by dyeing their hair red.
This year, our friends Art, Matilda and All Black Patrick Tuipulotu are getting involved, and we need you to join them, and take on this epic challenge to help make a difference to the health of our children.
How does it work?
- Set up an online fundraising page here, and set your fundraising target.
- Tell your friends, family and colleagues what you’re doing and ask them to donate – make sure you share on social media using #RedNoseDayNZ and tag @curekidscharity.
- Dye your hair red on Monday 25th September – which is the start of Red Nose Day week.
- Send us pics and keep us up to date with how you’re going.
The Cure Kids Red Nose Day team will be on hand to answer questions and provide fundraising support, from ideas, to donation tins, and anything else you need to raise as much as you can for child health research.
If you’re a little worried about dyeing all your hair, that’s okay – how about just the tips of your hair, your beard, or moustache?
Challenge Your CEO
We have challenged Cure Kids CEO, Frances Benge to jump off the sky tower this September, and have got a bunch of other daring CEOs to join her!
This Red Nose Day, get your work together and challenge your CEO to take on one of their biggest fears, give up something they love, or dare them to take on a challenge of your choice.
Still not convinced?
There are plenty of other ways you can fundraise as well, from running your own event, to organising a movie night or giving up something you love for the month. Register now or get in touch with the team for more info.
